I just got done watching the president’s speech on TV and Trump is, yet again, advocating more gun control in the wake of this past weekend’s mass shootings. He stated that he wants to tie universal background checks with immigration reform and that red flag laws need to be passed nation wide in order to confiscate guns from “potentially dangerous people”. He stated in his speech that red flag laws would entail a “speedy due process”, which really means no due process at all. Remember what he said last year:
I also suspect a major crackdown is coming soon on the internet, especially on social media. Trump mentioned that extremists have a safe haven in the “dark corners” of the internet and that something needs to be done about it. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that our 1st Amendment is going to be further eroded in the name of combating “hate speech”. Speaking of hate speech, I would have to agree with the liberals for once, that President Trump has played a role in dividing this country with his rhetoric. A couple of months ago he laughed when someone in the crowd at his Florida rally yelled “SHOOT THEM!” when he asked how to stop illegal immigrants:
This is an example among others that are sowing deep divisions in this nation. Our enemies want us divided; the more divided we are, the easier we are to conquer.
President Trump is calling for “bipartisanship” in dealing with these problems. I can tell you that whenever both parties come together on anything, the Constitution gets thrown out the window and the American people get screwed royally. Just like every one of these tragedies in the past, the government responds in the classic Hegelian Problem – Reaction – Solution fashion to take away more of our rights. Trump is no different and is in fact worse than his predecessor on gun control. Obama never got anything passed into law to restrict firearms, even though those on the right lived in constant fear that he would. Trump has called for red flag laws, signed the Fix NICS Act, and got his Justice Department to declare bump fire stocks as illegal machine guns. Now he’s calling for more stringent background checks and more red flag laws. Seriously, what it is going to take for conservatives to wake up to this fraud? Why do you still vehemently defend this traitor and make excuses for him? Conservatives in America have fallen into a deep sleep and will not utter so much a peep about the egregious trampling of our Constitution and Bill of Rights under this treasonous administration. I invite everyone to read Pastor Chuck Baldwin’s column titled
The Tea Party Is Dead And So Are The Patriot Movement And The Evangelical Church:
There is so much truth written in that column, but yet people just want to live in denial. As I predicted months ago, more gun control is coming and it will be signed into law by the man that you thought would be the 2nd Amendment’s greatest advocate in the White House.
So the questions are: what will be next after universal background checks? An assault weapons ban like what we saw under Clinton in 1994? Do you really think that Trump would not sign such a piece of legislation? Did you not know that in his book he wrote in 2000 titled The America We Deserve that he supports an assault weapons ban? Are people really that stupid to believe that he has changed his stance on that considering the amount of tragedies that are occurring in America? Wake up!
For the true American patriots out there (what few there are left) that are not caught up in this fraud and manipulation, hold fast. Keep your powder dry, train hard, remain alert, and never give up your guns no matter what happens or what “laws” are passed in the future. The day is fast approaching when we will be outlaws and criminals in our own country because of our unwavering adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Prepare accordingly.
